Mr R. C. Brown’s place between
Luella and Locust Grove.
Wise lived until about 12 o’clock
Monday. Hodge has not yet been
apprehended but Sheri if Sowell is
confident of capturing him in a
short time.

urday night.
Prof. Meyer to Give Ben

Prof. I. M. Meyer, of Atlanta,
one of the Gate City's most promi
nent and cultured mnsicians, lias

for the local chapter of the Daugh
ters of the Confederacy on cither
next Monday or Thursday evening,
the exact time has not yet been de
cided upon.
It is hoped that everyone will at
tend and not only have a rare mu
sical treat but will materially help
the monument fund of the U. D.

The concert will he at the school
auditorium.
