Everybody around here are dig

Mrs. Alice Collins took up her
school at this place Monday. Mrs.
Collins taught school here nine

another successful school term.
At our last conference meeting
Bro. W. S. King was chosen as
supply pastor for this church for
the remainder of this year.
We are all sorry to noteat this
writing Miss Saveppa English is
seriously sick.
Miss Mamie McKibben spent last
week with her aunt, Mrs. C. J.
Dickson of McDonough.
Mr. Yainey Kimbell has just
started erecting his new* residence.

Regular Meeting
Farmers Union.

On next Wednesday, Nov. 6th,
will occur the regular meeting of
the Farmers’ Union of Henry
county at the court house in Mc-
Donoug.
The morning session will be held
as usual at 9 o’clock. It is urged
that every local be represented,
with delegates and membership
There are matters of importance
to he considered at this meeting.
It is requested by the county
agent that all the local business
agents be present as there are
some matters for them to consider.
In the afternoon at 2 o’clock
there will be held in the court
house a public meeting at which
every one is invited to attend,
such as farmers, ’ merchants and
bankers, so as to consider matters
that will likely prove mutually
beneficial to all.
At this meeting our state busi
ness agent, Mr. ,1. G. Eubanks,
Will he present. Mr. B J. Wooten
county organizer, will also he
present.

This is to officially notify the
numbers of the Doles-Cook Brig
tulge Survivors’ Association that
our annual reunion will be held in
Augusta, Ga., at the same time
that the Georgia Division of (’on
federate Veterans assembles for
reunion there, commencing on the
12th of November L 907.
Major V. D. Barbot, of the 3rd
Battalion, 2rd Infantry, National
Guards, has kindly tendered the
‘‘Officers’ Room” of their Armory
for the transaction of all brigade
or regimental business.
Our meeting will take place on
the 12th of November at four
o’clock p. m.
Members receiving this circular
are requested to notify all members
of our association in their respec
tive counties or elsewhere of the
time and place of said meeting.
