Rev. T. J. Bledsoe, of Broxton,
arrived Sunday night for an ex
tended visit to his hosts of old
friends and relatives in this conn
tv. He has been given a warm and
hearty welcome by his many old
friends in old Henry.
Mr. Sid Mays has returned from
a month’s trip to South Georgia
and Florida. He report a very
fine and pleasant trip from Al
bany, Ga., to Tampa, Fla., was
made in a wagon which proved a
very fine feature of his trip.
Quite a number from here went
up to APanta to see “The Traitor”
at the Grand this week.
Prof. Lawrence Duffey went
over to Barnesville on Tuesday to
a committee meeting of the Sixth
Dist, A & M College.
Mrs. .T. (-J. Craft and little son,
of Hartwell, are the guests of her
mother, Mrs. L. A. Turner, this
week.
Col, E M. Smith, of McDonough
was in the city yesterday. He has
many friends here who are always
glad to see him. —Giflin News,
Mrs John S. Brown, of Locust
Grove, after a visit to B. B. Brown
and family in this city, went to
Senoia yesterday, where she is

burned on Tuesday, losing all his
household effects and some seed
cotton.

office of Ordinary, was a visitor
in Jonesboro Wednesday and re
ceived many cordial greetings

Turner and R. L, Johnson attend
ed the Shrine meeting of Yaarab
temple in Atlanta on Wednesday
night. Mr. C. W. Walker, accom
panied them and took a journey
across the hot sands.

lin’s staunch citizens, was a pleas
ant caller at the Weekly office yes
terday, and while here had us to
enroll his name as a regular sub

By virtue of a resolution passed at a
regular meeting of the stockholders
directors of the McDonough Buggy
Company, held on Nov. 15th 1908, will be
sold before the courthouse door in the
town of McDonough, Ga., on the first
Tuesday in December 1908, (Dec. Ist), at
10 o’clock a. m., the following real estate,
situate, lying and being in the town of
McDouough, Ga., to-wit:—
1. One lot fronting One Hundred and
Fifteen Feet on the alley leading from
Covington street to Lawrenceville street,
and running west Two Hundred Feet,
same being a uniform width of 115 feet,
and bounded north by lot of T. J. Pat
terson, east by above mentioned alley,
south by McDonough Buggy Company,
and west by lot of C. W. Bankston.
2. Also one lot lying just south of lot
No. 1 fronting One Hundred and fifteen
feet on same alley and running west Two
Hundred feet, being a uniform width of
115 feet, and bounded north by lot No. 1,
east by above mentioned alley, south by
other lots of McDonough Buggy Compa
ny and west by lot of C. \V. Bankston,
and D. \V. Scott.
3. Also at the same time and place,
one lot, with lumber-shed, fronting east
Two Hundred feet on the above men
tioned alley, and fronting south One
Hundred feet on Covington street, boun
ded north by lot No. 2, east by above
mentioned alley, south by Covington
street and west by other lot of McDon
ough Buggy Company.
4. Also at the same time and place the
lot on which are situated all the build
ings of the McDonough Buggy Company,
said lot fronting t’ovington street One
Hundred feet on the south and running
north to lot No. 2 Two Hundred feet and
being a uniform width of 100 feet, said
lot bounded north by lot No. 2, east by
lot No. 3. south by Covington strtvt and
west by lot of Dr. D. W. Scott. Terms
of said sale cash. This Nov. 19th 1908.
