Mr. D. G. Neal is on the sick
list this week. We hope he will
soon recover.
Mrs. C. C. Goodman is with her
mother, Mrs. Thompson, this
week while she is sick.
Mr. B. F. Thompson is the
proud father of a little boy at his
home.
Mr. W. H. Thompson purchased
a new buggy last week. Watch
for him, girls, he is .coming.
Mrs. S. P. Brown and her cous
in, Miss Aleena Hammonds, spent
Monday afternoon with Mr. and
Mrs. A. E. Brown.
Messrs. George and Grover
Patrick and their families spent
Saturday and Sunday with their
sister, Miss Sweet Patrick.
Mrs. Will Burnhart and mother
went to Griffin Monday to visit
relatives.
Mrs. George McNeal is visiting
Mr. Lee Williams and family this
week.
' Mrs. Dickson visited her daugh
ter, Mrs. T. T. Barham, last week.
Misses Cleo Morris and Dora
Hattaway were seen out riding
Sunday morning in a cart.
Mr. B. F. Thompson made a
business trip to Griffin Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. George Barnett
and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Dorsey
were the guests of Mr. and Mis.
W. A. Calloway last third Sunday.

We are sorry to note the illness
of Mrs. Carrie Barnett and we
hope for her a speedy recovery.
Mrs. Eliza Welch, of Hampton,
is visiting friends and relatives of
this place at this writing.
Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Stanfield vis
ited Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rowan,
of Flippen, last Monday night and
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander on Tues
day.
Miss Leila Campbell is spend
ing a couple of weeks with her
cousin, Miss Ethel Campbell, of
Riverdale, at this writing.
We are sorry to note the illness
of Mrs. W. T. Stanfield. We hope
she will soon be well again.
Miss Mary Jim Wallace and Mr.
Way man Barnett and Mr. Fred
Barnett are attending the singing
school at Anvil Block.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Babb and
family were the guests of Mr. and
Mrs. R. F. Stanfield Sunday.
We are sorry to note the illness
of Mr. Henry Wallace, who has a
light attack of malarial fever.
Mr. and Mrs. Aycock, of Love
joy, were the guests cf Mr. and
Mrs. D. T. McLendon Wednes
day.
Mr. Otis Wallace was the guest
of Mr. Holiie Stanfield last week.
Mr. John Rhodes and his two
sons-in-law, Messrs. Autry and
Brown, of Griffin, were the guests
of Mr. John Dorsey last Wednes
day.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Calloway
visited Mr. and Mrs. Clint Gibbs,
of near Lovsjoy, last Sunday, and
also Miss Santie Calloway.
Misses Vannie and Minnie Conk
le were the guests of Miss Susie
Stanfield Sunday.

the camp meeting at Shingle
Roof camp ground on Saturday.
We are glad to note that Miss
Ethel Stanfield, who was stung
by a wasp and has been very low
for the past four weeks, is im
proving very fast.
The singing at Liberty Hill was
ejnoyed very much by all who
were present, although there
wasn’t a very large crowd on the
account of other singings at dif
ferent places. There will be an-!
other one there next fourth Sun- j
day. Everybody come and bring
your books. Come to meeting!

in the forenoon.
Miss Maud Banks is spending a |
few days with her aunt, Mrs. Min
nie Cooper, of Senoia, at this
writing.

were the guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Harvie Barnett Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. George All, of
near Flippen, were the guests of
Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Stanfield last
Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Knight, of
Griffin, were the guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Harvie Barnett last
week.
We are glad to say that Mrs.
Mary Barnett, who lias been sick
for quite a while, is some better.
Miss Stelia Barnett is visiting
friends and relatives in Atlanta
