Rocky-Brancii. As 1 have been absent for awhile, will come again. We are having some very cool weather at the present time. We are sorry to hear of the •death of little Bessie McGarrity which occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. McGarrity at Mc- Donough. Mrs. Lois Nail left Sunday morn ing for a week's visit to her par ents at Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Wooten. Mr. J. M. McGarrity, Minnie and Ernest. spent last Wednesday night with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pat terson. Mr. T. J. Nail attended the old veteran's reunion at Columbus. Mr. D. G. Lane made a business trip to Stockbridge last Saturday. Mr. Robbie McGarrity entered the High School at McDonough last Monday morning. Mr. A. W. Lane attended the Fair at Macon last Saturday. Mr. Paul Sims spent last Sun day with Mr. Elton Sims. Mr. Green Upchurch and family spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A. W. McGarrity. Rose-bud. West Ola. Mr. Jim Craig'and family spent Sanday with Mr. Walter Cleave land and family, of near Locust Grove. Mr. Arthur Jeffares, of McDon ough, and Mr. Jim Austin, of near Mt. Bethel, passed through Ola Sunday morning. Mr. Austin R >sser was hauling his best girl Sunday afternoon. Mr. J. J. Welch is all smiles! a new arrival : a girl. Mr. Connie Craig, who has been quite sick, is so .ie better at this writing. Mr. Rufus Rodgers, who is in school at Locust Grove, visited Ins parents Sunday.
