spent Saturday night and Sunday
with Miss Madie Crawford.
We are sorry to note the illness
Xiess of Mr. N. C. Callaway. We
hope he will soon be well again.
Mrs. D. L. McLendfm visited in
Hampton Saturday afternoon.
The tackey party given by Mrs.
Ida Callaway last Saturday eve
ning in honor of her little sister,
Madie Crawford, of Dothan, Ala.,
was qnite a success and enjoyed by
all present. Many pleasant games
were played and a delightful wagon
ride was taken, after which they
were led into the parlor where a
beautiful table was spread with
fruits and cake and candies and all
the dainties that little girls enjoy.
The tables and room were decorat
ed with holly. Those present were
Fettle Banks, Lillie Patterson,
Omie Stephenson, Bennie Maud
Dorsey, Jewel and Eula Stan tied,
Mary Jim Wallace, Vera Barnett,
Velma Gibbs, Madie Crawford,
Opal Barnett. Jimmie Lee Dorsey,
Geraldine McKinney. The prize
which was given for the tackiest
dressed one was won by Jewel
Stanfield, which was a plush box
with two gold beauty-pins.
Misses Carrie Barnett and Mattie
Stanfield and Janie Banks and Lela
Dorsey were the guests of Mrs. R.
F. Stanfield Saturday evening.
Mr W. T. Stanfield and R. H.
Chinn and Mr. Charlie Chinn were
the guests of Mr. R. F. Stanfield
Sunday afternoon.

corporations by the laws of Georgia.
