Harrell has recently been in the hands of the decorator. Locust Grove Institute. Miss Cora Massee attended the closing services of the conference in Atlanta Saturday and Sunday. Miss Lucile Freeman spent the week-end at her home in Berner. % Miss Glausier visited friends in Macon the last of the week. The last number of the Lyceum Course was given Saturday night. The Wilbur Starr Quartette was the attraction. Interest in the F'ield Day, which comes off April 1, is on the in cline. Athletic events will in main make up the attractions. Comical races will also be a feature, among which the potato, the sack, the three-legged, and the wheelbar row races will figure. The first games of the season last Monday at Barnesville went against us by the score of 6 to 1. The Gordon team is strong this season, but the relative strength of the teams is not shown by this score. Stage fright the first two innings caused the balloon to go up. Green and Allen were the batteries for Locust Grove Insti tute. The next game will be pulled off here Saturday. Tech High School of Atlanta will be the op posing team. List of Letters.
