Along Route Four. Miss Ora Jackson, of McDon *mgh, spent Saturday night and Sunday with home folks. Mr. John Rawls made a business tip to the Gate City Saturday. We are having some rainy v* eather at present. Mrs. Fannie Sowell, of McDon cugh, was the week-end guest of I’iss Mollie Rawls. Mr. and Mrs. Lon McGarity, of * rDonough, spent Friday night v ; ith the former’s parents. Rev. I. G. Walker spent Satur day night as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rawls and family. Guess the crops will be greatly t iclitted by thisrain. Mr. Floyd Stewart, of McDon c!Ugh, spent one night recently with Mr. Joe McGarity. Masters Ray and Frank Berry smd little sister, Delia, visited their grandmother, Mrs. M. H. Berry, Saturday afternoon. Rev. I. G. Walker and Mr. Henry Rawls called on Mr. B. T. Berry and family a short while Saturday ftfternoon. Elliott went to McDonough Saturday. Little Odell Branan, who has been very ill with croup, is slowly improving. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Phillips, of near Flippen, spent Saturday night and Sunday with relatives here. Mrs. J. B. Rowan and Miss Fannie Branan made a business trip to McDorn ugh Wednesday. Misses Frances Blankenship and Emma Palmer spent Saturday evening with Misses Annie and Lois Branan. Miss Fannie Pair spent last week with Mrs. G. O. Branan. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Owen, of near Stockbridge, visited Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Elliott Saturday night and Sunday. Master Goddard Branan visited Mr. Tye Rowan Sunday. Mrs. G. O. Branan and lovely daughters, Misses Fannie and Lois, attended services at Ozias Saturday. Messrs. Tom and Reuben Kelly were in this vicinity Saturday. Misses Nannie Harkins and Mary and Kate Branan spent Friday night with Miss Mae Kelly, of near McDonough. An ounce of forethought is worth a pound of wish-you-had. Eventually —yes. John R.
