Central Dots. By the time this goes to press Easter Services will all be over. And it is a time to be remembered, for oar Savior suffered, bled and died for our transgressions that we might live with him in that good and better kingdom. Mr. and Mrs. Gideon Banks and their daughter, Nettie, and Mrs. Tom Dorsey and her daughters, Binnie Maud, Zimmie Lee, and Lucile, visited Mr. H. F. Stanfield, of Bolinbroke, Saturday night and Sunday. We regret to note the illness of little Maxwell Callaway. We hope he will soon be well again. Mr. and Mrs. Harvie Barnett, Sr., were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lon Barnett Saturday night and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Callaway, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Stanfield, Mr. M. C. Callaway and his daughter, Miss Lela, and Messrs. Claud and Howard Callaway were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Callaway Sunday. I saw Mr. W. T. Stanfield the other day and he looked like a chicken with the sorehead. He has been boasting ever since Christmas that he was on the top rail, but now it seems that his hand is on the top, for he is do ing all the resting. Cheer up, old farmers, for behind the clouds the sun still shines. Messrs, Dean Wynn, Homer Patterson, Albert Sorrel, Jim Smith, Watson Stanfield, and Misses Nannie Stephenson, Ada Copeland, and Ruth Winn, were the guests of Miss Maud Banks Sunday afternoon. Mr. D. L. McLendon visited rel atives at Milner Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Tidier, of Morrow Station, visited their uncles, Messrs. W. F. Stanfield and R. F. Stanfield Saturday night and Sunday. Miss Lela Callaway has returned home after a few days visit to her sister, Mrs. Jesse Stanfield. Mr. Kinnie Clower accompanied her. Mrs. D. L. McLendon visited Mrs. Adna Daniel, of Hampton, this week. The latter’s little son has been very sick. Mrs. Sallie Wise, of Lovejoy, was the guest of Mrs. R. H. Chinn Saturday afternoon. Mrs. N. J. Banks and daughter, Miss Maud, made a business trip to Griffin Monday. Mrs. Allie Dorsey visited Mr. and Mrs. Sam Campbell, of River dale, a few days last week. Mrs. Betsie Campbell, of River dale, who was visiting Mrs. B. C. Bright last week, was called home on account of the death of her sister, Mrs. Caroline Adams. Messrs. W. T. Stanfield and R. F. Stanfield made a business trip to Griffin Thursday. Along Route Four. Hello, Mr. Editor, here I come for another chat. Rev. I. G. Walker filled his reg ular appointment at Sharon Sun day. The singing at Bethany Sunday was well attended and we had some fine singing. Mrs. Octavia Rawls and child ren have returned home, after a week’s visit to her uncle and aunt. i Miss Ora Jackson spent Satur day night and Sunday with home folks. Mrs. Ollie J)uffey returned home Sunday, after a week’s visit to her parents, B. T. Berry, and family. Mrs. Ollie Duffey and Miss Wil lie Berry were the guests of Mrs. Minnie Berry Thursday night. Mr. Hugh Foster, accompanied by Miss Rosa Berry, attended the singing at Bethany Sunday. We are glad to know that Mrs. Henry Rawls is better at this writ ing. Messrs. Raymond Sims and Walter Maloy, of Oak Hill, were in this community Sunday after noon. Mr. Lawrence Morris and Miss Alice Bell attended the singing at Bethany Sunday. Also Mr .Tom Kelley and Miss Moxelle Morris. Mr. Harris Stewart has pur chased a “new buggy.” Misses Lillian and Bertha Jack son visited Misses Rosa and Willie Berry Saturday. Master Archie McGarity is spend ing a few days with his grandpa rents. We had such a beautiful “Easter” Sunday, and we guess the farmers will be busy this week, as they haven’t had much pretty weather for the last two weeks to do much work. Good-bye to all. West Ola. We extend to Mr. Howard Pat terson and family our heartfelt sympathy in the death of their little son, who breathed his last Friday at noon, and was buried at Sharon Saturday morning. May the family strive onward, and meet their little darling in that home where there is no sorrow nor pain. Mr. Oliver Thompson spent the week-end in Atlanta. Rev. I. G. Walkerdilled his reg ular appointment at Sharon Sat urday and Sunday and at Bethany Sunday night. I think nearly everybody around attended singing at Bethany Sun day afternoon, and heard some fine singing. Mr. Bail Elliott and family spent the week end with their parents, Mr. John Duke and family. Mr. John Lovorn and family, of Hampton, were the guests of Mr. J. C. Craig and family Sunday. The Missionary Society met at Bethany Saturday afternoon. Miss Bertha Rodgers, of McDon ough, is the guest of her cousin, Miss Lillie Craig, of near Bethany, this week, Mr. Frank Grant, of McDon ough, passed through our midst Monday. It seems that nearly everybody is attending court this week. Mrs. Essie Allen and little daugh ter spent Monday with her pa rents. Mr. T. J. Sims and family, of near Bethany, spent Sunday with Mr. Elija Barnett. Rev. I. G. Walker will fill his regular appointment at Bethany Saturday and Sunday. Let every body come out each service. Midway and Between. Eastor services were held at Mt. Carmel Sunday afternoon, and a well-filled house there was. Sev eral attended from Flippen. Hamp ton. Mr. Wesley Patterson and Miss Dickson, of McDonough, were wel come visitors at Mt. Carmel Sun day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Zack Mitchell visit ed Mr. C. W. Pritchett and family Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. George Pritchett visited Mr. and Mrs. Gus Mitchell Friday afternoon. Mr. Jipti Fields visited Mr. A. W. Hood Thursday evening. Too wet to work, but that don’t bother people from fishing around here. Curtis Mays and sister, Miss Eddie, passed through here Satur day evening. Listen for the wedding hells. They have commenced to ring. Miss Ray Wilkins, of Hampton, visited her mother, Mrs. Laura Wilkins, Saturday night and Sun day. I didn't go to any Easter hunts Saturday, and therefore I didn’t find any rabbit eggs. I depend on the old reliable liens, and wasn’t disappointed Sunday. Kitty. Sardis. Misses Laney and Ola Whitaker visited around Mt. Bethel Sunday evening. The Easter egg hunt at Pine Hill school house Friday afternoon was enjoyed by all present. Mr. Milton Wilson and lady at tended the singing at Bethany Sun day afternoon. Miss Laney Whitaker spent Sat urday in McDonough shopping. Mr. Howard Hays spent the week-end in Atlanta, on business. I guess. Mr. Charley Welch, of McDon ough. passed through here Sunday afternoon. Mr. Grover Mason spent Satur day in the Gate City. Little Mary Louise Branan has returned home from Atlanta, hav ing spent a few days with Jack Anderson and family. The Elberta peach and the Al berta wheat crop are friendly rivals, and both are full of promise this year, I just learned a chicken had swallowed a $200.00 diamond ring. Its owner refused to have the culprit killed. The only way out of it is to set the chicken in a ring and wear it. Jenkinsburg. . Hello, Mr. Editor. I guess it rained enough for >ou last week. Didn’t it? Miss Velma Reeves returned to her home, near Stark, last Friday. Mr. Lum Jones visited relatives in this section Saturday and Sun day.
