Mrs. Healy and Mrs. Whitehead, of Atlanta, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dailey Thursday and Mrs. Whitehead was accom panied home by little Sarah, who had been visiting her grand parents several weeks. Mr, Boyd Carmichael was at home Sunday from school at G. M. I. He is well pleased and doing good work. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Etheridge spent Sunday in McDonough as the guests of Mrs. Etheridge’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tur ner. Mrs. D. E. Clements is confined to her bed with LaGrippe. Her friends wish for her an early recovery. Mrs. T. A. Lifsey charmingly en tertained a few friends Wednes day afternoon. Miss Myrtle Clements will leave Monday to begin teaching about four miles from Locust Grove. She will have charge of the County Line School. Mrs. O. E. Cathy, of Barnes ville returned to her home in Barnesville Saturday after a week’s visit to her father, Rev. J. A. Jackson, during his illness. Mrs. E. D. Tolleson, of Jackson, was the guest of Mrs. H. M. Tur ner Wednesday and Thursday. Little Lillian Carmichael is quite ill and her school friends miss her presence. Little Josie Bankston is serious ly ill and her host of friends hope she will soon recover.
