The Henrv County Weekly «/ */ J VOL. XL. SPLENDID METHODIST MEET INGS NOW IN PROGRESS. Pastor Preaching Wiih Power. Mr. Grenfell Conducting Fine Singing—Good Attendance. Protracted meetings began at the McDonough Methodist church with the regular eleven o’clock services Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock there was a special service for children, and this was very in structive and well attended. During the week there have been two services each day, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and at 7:30 in the evening. The pastor, the Rev. H. S. Smith, preaches at each service. He al ways says something worth hear ing and something of spiritual val ue to every person. Sin is not slighted after the modern fashion of some, nor is Divine love de based to the level of the mere human. Mr. B. G. Grenfell has charge of the choir and the beautiful and inspiring music and singing show his splendid skill as a musician and choir leader.
