Stockbridge. Mrs. Augustus Swann and daughter, Virginia, will spend the day in Atlanta Thursday seeing Santa Claus. Misses Marguerite Hartsell and Manta Brown spent Saturday in Attanta. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mann, Mrs, Augustus Swann, Mrs. Usher Hinton at d Mrs. W. W. Ward mo tored to Atlanta Thursday to see the Birth of a Nation. Rev. I. H. Miller spent the w eek end here filling his regular ap pointment at the Stockbridge Presbyterian church Sunday morn ing and evening. Miss Manta Mr. Horace Williams and Miss Mar.deline Ward will go up to Atlanta Tuesday evening to a play given by the pupils of Miss Eastlock at the Conservators. Miss Browne will take the part of Admatis in the play Endymion. Prof. George F. Lindner of the Atlanta will spend the week end as the guest of his pupil, Will W. Ward, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Power will go to Atlanta Thursday to see the Birth of a Nation. A prett; event of last Wednes day was the home wedding of Miss Zipporah Bellah and Mr. Frank Wright. The house was artistically decorated in palms, ferns ana pink and white carna nations. The wedding march was played bv Mrs. W. W. Ward, and the ceremony was performed by Rev. Walter Carmichael, in the presence of a number of friends and relatives. Mrs. M. E. Ward, Mrs. Z. 1). Ward and son, Mrs. Rosa Lee El lison and Lady Lou McWilliams visited Atlanta Saturday. Mr. Rosser Ward has returned from a trip to Tennessee and St. Louis. The Ladies Aid Society of the Presbyterian church of Stock biidge will have an oyster supper from 2:00 to 10:00 o’clock Satur day arternoon and evening at the Court House in Stockbridge. Childs attended the Bible Study at Jenkinsburg Rap tist church Friday evening and rendered some fine singing. This | study is gimm every Friday eve ning, and everybody is invited to attend. Mrs. E. W. Cook spent the week-end with relatives at Stark. Mrs. J. D Little has returned to her home in Jackson, after a pleasant visit with relatives here. Mrs. M.
