who is very low at his home near

The little son of Mr. and Mrs.
Fddie Taylor has been very ill for
several days, but we are glad to
know he is much improved.
Misses Sarah Combs and Eva
Belk spent last week-end at Lo
cust Grove.
Just a little sunshine was wel
comed last Thursday, and we took
advantage of same by visiting
some of our old neighbors, Mrs.
Lucinda Fargason, who we find
n feeble health. We hope she
will soon be restored to health.
We also had the pleasure of going
to see grandma Kniglu and Aunt
Jane Ho; iogsworth, and Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Elliott, all past three
score and ten, but hale and healthy.

Mrs. George Blissett died sud
denly at her home near the camp
ground last Friday afternoon.
She leaves a husband and three
small childr nto whom much sym
pathy is expended.
Beaulah Pattfllo of Atlanta, is
the guest of Miss Odell Knight.
Mr. Jodie Taylor visited home
folks Sunday.
Mr. Homer Elliott spent the
week-end at home.

The program at Hickory Flat
Friday afternoon was highly en
joyed by quite a number o! friends
and patrons. One ot the most
interesting features was that of
the debate, Subject being, “Resolv
ed that war has done and is doing
more harm than intemperance.”
The affirmative side won. We
hardly know which has done most
harm, but the affirmitive papers
held a br ght light.
Miss Byrd Glass visited Mrs.
Elon Brannan last Friday after
noon.

It is bad, rainy weather, but

jolly good time in Dutch Town.
