Union Grove (Last Week’s Letter ) Our hearts were saddened last Monday morning when the news j reached us that “Mr. Brannan was ■ dead.” It had been our pleasure to know him for several years; and to know him was to love him. He was a man of few words but well spoken. He never offended in word or deed; and the good book tells us that “The same is a perfect man.” He never connected himself with any church, but often expres sed his belief in the Misionary Baptist faith. It is useless for us to say more in paise of this good man, for his life will live on. Sev eral of his friends spoke feelingly of him at the funeral, and the large crowd present attests the high esteem in which he was held. People getting blue over the rain and war situation. Miss Mary Lucy Elliott is the last one entertaining the measles in this section. Little Cleo Blankenship accom pained Miss Sarah Combs to Locust Grove last week-end. Misses Sadie McLean a net Roe n a Smith of Timber kidge, called in this section last week in the interest of Sabbath school. They hav one hundred and one on roll, andusuall/in attendence. D. 2, Salem, Mo., writes: “I have been bothered with bladder trouble four or five years. It gave me a great deal of pain. I took different medicines, but nothing did me any good until I got Foley Kidney Pills.” Many persons suffer from kidney and bladder trouble when they can be relieved. Backache, dizziness, rheumatic pains, stiff or sore joints and other symptoms yield to Foley Kidney Pills. McDonough Drug Co. CALENDAR Henry County Superior Court, April Term, 1917.
