BETHANY BUI El LETS. (I.ast, Week’6.) A large crowd attended Sunday school at Bethany Sunday after noon. Miss Rawls dined with Miss Nena Rape Sunday. Mr. Herman Whitaker of Camp Gordon spent Saturday night ai.d Sunday with friends and relatives. Miss Eleene Gardner and sister spent Sunday with Misses Mary Lou and Mittie Lee Culpepper. Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Rosser of McDonough spent Sunday with Mrs. Mattie Bowden. Misses Bettie Lou Upchurch and Ola Rawls spent Sunday with Miss Vera Nail. Mr. Vanie Bowden of Macon spent Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Mattie Bowden. The singing given by Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hubbard was enjoyed by all present. Mrs. Lizzie Upchurch and little son, Archie, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Green Up church. One Two, I have something to tell you but haven’t got space in this letter, will tell you later. The last quarterly conference of the year convened at Bethel church Saturday. The presiding elder, Rev. Laptade, delivered a very able sermon at eleven o’clock. Mrs. Levin Whitley and little daughter, Mary Evelyn of Atlanta, spent the week-end with her pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Clark. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Martin, Mrs. J. C. Burson, Mrs. Maggie Wil liams, Mrs. T. U. Martin, Marie Martin and Mrs. Hunnicutt, spent a short while with relatives here Sunday afternoon. Miss Leek Martin was the guest of Mrs. C. W. South a while Sun day evening. Mrs. Lem Cook and daughter Vera, were the guests of Mrs. C. W. South Friday afternpon. Miss Callie Everett and Miss Delia Everett from near White House are the guests of Mrs. W. N. South. Mr. and Mrs. George Walden spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. B Y. White. Mr. T. W. Peterman has had automobile fever for some time, and the result is, he and Mr s. Peter man are riding in a John Henry Ford. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. White and children and Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Peterman motored to East Point Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Martin spent the week end with their daughter, Mrs. Lem Cook. BUSY BEE.
