From Griffin. Mr. Editor, please allow us the same privilege and pleasure of writing to your paper that we en joyed while a resident of Henry county. We missed one copy of The Weekly after moving, and when the next issue cane we felt like a good friend had come. So, Mr. Editor, please don’t stop our paper. We are sure our Henry county friends won’t object to hear from us occasionally, so will take this method of keeping them in formed. As readers know we al ways boasted about our good neighbors. Living there in Henry 30 years, we know whereof we speak. But let us say right here that there are good people here also. So when our friends think of us up there, know that we are still happy and contented, trusting the Lord for courage to fight the things that easily beset us. We had hoped that our boys would be able to spend this Chrst mas, but our hopes have almost vanished. Now we are not com plaining, but looking forward to the day when all will be released and homeward bound. We were very much disappointed last Mon day morning when we met the 7:50 train and our boy was not on it. We turned our face homeward saying Lord let him come when it suits, we can do nothing but trust. So the following morning at 1 o’clock that well known knock was heard, and the voice said ma, open the door. Someone will say oh well, it just happened so. Well we don’t believe that, we believe in asking the Lord for everything we need, be it ever so small. We will endeavor to write when we are a little better acquainted with the city, and would like to HENRY COUNTY WEEKLY, McDONOUGH, GEORGIA hear from Punch and Judy often.
