Elliston News Notes. March will soon be here and the farmers haven’t done any work in their crops yet. Mrs. Dessa Green of Atlanta spent the week-end with her pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Fincher. Miss Eva Washington of Tow aliga spent last week with her sister, Mrs. Lillian Hays. Miss Pearl Paden was the guest of Miss Winner Cowan Wednes day night. Mr. and Mrs. Watson Shaw spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Horton. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Turner were visiting relatives at Phillippi Sunday. Miss Wilmer Cowan entertained her friends Wednesday night with a rook party. Mr. J. H. Haynes made a busi ness trip to Atlanta Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Fincher of Pace spent Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Haynes. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mitchell spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Will Carter near McDonough. Mrs. Noah Cowan has been vis iting relatives in Porterdale last week. Misses Cebelle Horton and Wil mer Cowan spent Sunday with Miss Lucy Bell Haynes.
