BASEBALL Locust Grove Plays Dah lonega Next Monday and Tuesday. Locust Grove Institute and Dah lonega N. G. A. C. will meet each other on the Locust Grovediamond Monday and Tuesday, May sth and 6th. These games will be the most interesting ones of the season, owing to the fact that they will be fighting for the state prep championship. Do not by any means miss these games. The president, Mrs. J. L. Gardner, with her co workers has the work well planned and we are expecting great things of these faithful workers. Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Smith spent Tuesday in Atlanta. Miss Francis Williams spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. McGuire, in Macon. Miss Myrtle Price has returned from a visit to relatives in Atlanta. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Eubanks of Griffin were week-end guests of Mrs. R. F. Smith, Mr. C. V. Williams spent Thurs day in Atlanta. Miss Mittie Wall of College Park is visiting her brother, W. P. Wall Miss Stella Gardner of Griffin spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Gard ner. Miss Helen Howard is spending some time with her sister, Mrs. Kate Donovan. Mrs. Gradv Castllaw has re turned trom a visit to relatives in Macon. Miss Nora Smith leaves May Ist to attend a business college in Macon. Miss Lois Pace and Miss Doro thy Price were among the number I attending grand opera in Atlanta. The many friends of Miss Ophe lia Colvin will be glad to know she is slowly improving. Mrs. T. E.
