    Newiy Married Police
Chief Late at Supper.
Joe Miller, who officiates as
chief of police out at East Point,
was late at supper Monday night.
Nothing extraordinay about that,
for since the time when Adam
rolled in after the roasted bread
fruit had got cold and clammy and
Eve was waiting with an oration
that curled his hair, the male
members of domestic establish
ments have been committing that
i dentical offense. But in this case
there were extenuating circum
stances. Hehadlem incarcerated
in his own calaboose.
On last Sunday, the wielder of
the official billy took unto himself
a wife in the p> rson of Miss Kate
Thaxton, of Hampton, Ga. On
Monday his friends in East Point
decided that a little practical
joking was in order, and forthwith
inveigled the chief of police into
the inner regio is of the municipal
bastile. Then they departed in
haste, leaving the chief securely
held within tin* confining walls
and barred doors.
When the shades of evening
were falling and mouth-watering
odors were being wafted abroad
from the culinary departments of
East Point domiciles, the im
promptu jailers released their
prisoner.—Atlanta Journal.
The young man who pays $3 00
for his ties and $2.00 for his sox
and $1 50 for his handkerchiefs is
sure hitting the high spots. And,
in time, his wife will probably be
hitting the wash tub.

enough for tiie wonderful benefits

Please publish this statement as I
want the people everywhere to
know of them.” Lame back, sore
muscles, puffiness under eyes, and
an “always tired” feeling are incii
cations that the kidneys and blad

Feet Drag?
When it is an effort to drag one foot
after the other, when you are always
tired and seem lacking in strength and
endurance, when aches and pains rack
the body, it is well to look for symptoms
