Too frequently the friend in need is the last one to be paid. Every man is entitled to his just deserts, but very few care to collect on them. Some people take themselves seriously because no one else is willing Jo taae them at all. A public man is a public target, but sometimes his hide is too thick for the shafts to penetrate. Most men have a generous streak in their makeup. They are pro lific in the giving of free advice. The wise man never tells all that he knows. As long as he keeps you guessing he has you coming. From the Benedictine Sisters. Coughs and colds are infectious, and prompt measures should be taken to stop the coughing and spreading of germs. The follow ing letter from the Benedictine Sisters, Holy Name Convent, San Antonio, Fja., is of value to every mother: “We have just received shipment of Foley’s Honey and Tar. It is a household remedy. We have used it since we knew of it, for our children specially, and always found it beneficial.” Mc- Donough Drug Co. Take it easy, brother. Don’t get all fussed up because your wife has just paid you one of those delicate compliments she used to hand out before the preacher col lected his fee. Tomorrow you’ll knoiy how much it costs.
