Mr. and Mrs. Joel A. Wall, their
children and her father. Mr. W. J.
Shadix, have returned from a very
pleasant trip to Alabama, where
they were the guests of relatives
and friends. They enjoyed many
sight seeing pleasures, among
which were Red Sulphur Springs,
WhiteSulphur Springs, also Warm
Springs, and last but not least the
beautiful little lakes at Cool
Springs with their many different
fish.
The Young People’s Missionary
society of the Methodist church
entertained Tuesday evening at a
delightful gipsy party on thechurch
lawn. Guests were invited to
come dressed as gipsy men and
women, and many novel and
unique costumes were seen among*
the gipsies. After games apd
music, the guests enjoyed roasting
and eating weiners around the bon
tire on the lawn. The chaperones
for this occasion were Mesdames
Adell Scott. Mrs. Will Peace and
Miss Ellene Neal.
