The many friends of Miss Elizabeth
Reeves will regret to hear of her ex¬
treme illness at the home of her
mother, Mrs. L. P. Reeves, in Deca¬
tur, but wish for 1 her a speedy re¬
covery.
Rev. and Mrs. E. R. Pendleton and
little daughter, Constance, will leave
today for their future home in Pen¬
sacola., Fla., It is with general re¬
gret we see these good people leave
and we wish for them much success
in their new home.
Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Adams and
son, Ralph Bracy, and Mr. Ralph Ad¬
ams, of Bayouine, N. J., arrived Sat¬
urday and were guests ofi Mr. and
Mr®. S. O. Cook Sunday. They were
en route to Monroe, where they wij]
make their future home.
Mrs. John L. Stephenson and Mrs.
Ida J. Whitehead attended a reunion
of their class of 1888 at the home of
Mrs. J. K. Davidson, in. Lithonia, last
Thursday. A most enjoyable day was
experienced by each one present.
Mr®. Vera Harper has been very
fortunate in securing Miss Louise
Skelton as her milliner for the falll
and winter season, and wil be glad
to have her friends call and see her

took place Monday evening, Sept. 19,
1910, at the residence of Dr. J. M.
Brittain, in Atlanta.

Duck Supper.
Mrs. Evan® Lunsford was the gra¬
cious hostess at a duck supper Sat¬
urday night, when she entertained
several of her friend® who are inter¬
ested in buck raising.
The table had for its center-piece
a graceful arrangement of heliotrope
and crimson geraniums and a most
delicious five course supper was
served.
Those enjoying the hospitality of

dine for the past two weeks. The
house was beautifully decorated with
handsome palm®, ferns and Japanese
lanterns. Music and games were en¬
joyed until a la,te hour, after refresh¬
ments were served. Mrs. Smith re¬
ceived her guests wearing a becom¬
ing gown of white lingerie. Thirty
guests were invited. Among those
present were Misses Mary Jones,
Pauline Ozburn, Ruth Brisendine,
Maud Parr, Annie Belle Robinson, El¬
la and Annie Duffey, Mattie Smith
