Dear friend:
I used to go to the
butcher-shop for soup
bone, and then I got
some vegetables and
things somewhere else,
and came home, and
Mama would fret,
around and make us
soup. She has quit
that now. She Just
sends me down to get
some soup already made,
and she Just has to
put a little water in
it and heat it. This
saves Mama lots of
trouble, and it
doesn't cost as much
as fooling around with
a soup-bone, she says.
Your Friend,
Jacob.
P. S. You would be
surprised to see how
many kinds of prepared
soup they have at
G. C. Taylor & Bro.
