AIRS. J. S. AIKEN DIED LAST
WEEK IN OXFORD.
On the morning of Felt. 5, 1015 at
2:30 o'clock the grim reaper visited the
town of Orford and took away one of
our most beautiful lives, that of Mrs. J
S. Aiken.
There is no tribute bigdt enough to
pay to such a lift' as hers Those who
knew her in the home remember her
as being devoted to her family and
never sparing an effort to make each
member happy. Outside the home she
still carreid about her an atmosphere
of sunshine that never failed to enter
tin* lives of those with whom she came
in contact. Her charming personality
her Christian character, self-sacrificing
in every instance, has not only won
for her many friends, but it has had
an influence that will ever he an in
spiration in years to come, for those*
who knew her.
Our sympathy goes out to the be¬
reaved family for we realize how
hard it is. Our own hearts even are
breaking; yet when we consider the
fact that she is sweetly resting with
our Heavenly Father who has all ten
derness and love for his children, and
when we think of what a beautiful
home has been prepared for her in
Heaven would we have her come back?
AYe can merely he thankful that her
life has been given us as an example
and pray God that He will give us
that same faith and courage, so that
some day we may meet her in that
beautiful Heavenly home.
MRS. GEORG IE S. ELLIOTT.
