Frank L. Stanton. The exercises were
irranged by Dr. Melton.
Dr. Dempsey gave a talk on the
'Place of the Singer in the World.”
Dr. Johnson spoke on “The Effect of
Stanton upon eth History of Georgia.”
Dr. Hinton read a selection from Mr.
Stanton upon the History of Georgia.”

AGRICULTURAL STUDENTS TAKE
HOLIDAY.
With the permission of Dean John¬
son all the agricultural students took
a holiday Thursday and journeyed over
to Oov. to take in the Newton County'
Dne Day Fair.
The trip proved a thoroughly en¬
joyable one. and a great amount of
rood was derived therefrom, as the
stock exhibit was especially good and
the boys had a chance to see some of
their theories put into practice.—Em¬
