The Board of Drainage Commission ers met in its office in Covington Georgia, on this day and date at th call of the chairman. The following resolution" was intro¬ duced: WHEREAS, the tottal costs of the Drainage Improvements of Gum Creek Drainage District is THIRTY-SIX THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED FIVE AND 88-100 Dollars, and exceeds an average of twenty-five cents per acre on tjie lands in the District: Now therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Board o Drainage Commissioners issue bond for the payment of the total costs of the improvements. And be it further resolved, That the following notice be published for three weeks in “The Covington News,” a newspaper in Newtun County, same paper beinfg the Official Organ of said County, and said notice be posted at the Court House Door of said Coun¬ ty and at five conspicuous place in the Drainage District: NOTICE TO LANDOWNERS GUM CREEK DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
