Mr. Robert Perry left Tuesday, for
a visit to Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Conn, in

Mr. Pressley Christian, after spend¬
ing several days in Atlanta has re¬
turned to Covington.
Mrs. W. T. Fee and daughter, Ruby
of Conyers, spent Monday with Mr.
and Mrs. U. L. Meador.
Mrs. J. O. Cooper, who has been in
an Atlanta sanitorium several weeks
returned home, Tuesday.
Miss Delia Perry, who is teaching
at Wrens, visited her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Jesse Perry, for the week-end.
Miss Marion Willis, of G. N. and I. C.
came up from Milledgeville to spend
the week-end holidays with homefolks.
Rev. Christian, of Elberton was vis¬
iting the Ramsey relatives and renew¬
ing old acquaintance in Covington this

Mrs. Estelle Pye of Thomaston are visit
ing their Norris Andrew, Kilpatrick

Mrs. John Porter of Macon was in
Covington the past week visiting the

Mr. Norris Pye of Atlanta was in
Covington, Sunday, coming down dur¬
ing the visit of his mother, Mrs. Joseph
Pye, of Woodland.
Mrs. J. N. Gary, Miss Pauline and
Theo Gary and Elwyn Gary, with their
house guests the Branans and Roun¬
trees spent Saturday in Atlanta.
Mr. and Mrs F. C. Branan and Mrs.
D. Alvah Rountree motored from
Swainsboro, last week for a visit to
the J. N. Gary family. Returning
home Monday.
Friends regretted that Mrs. Sam
Thompson was quite indisposed, this
week. She was greatly missed by
Philathea Class at the Methodist Sun¬
day School, last Sabbath.
Mr. Means Davis, of Columbia S. C.
was a recent guest of Mr. and Mrs.
Claud Cook. He was accompanied on
his home return by Essie and Craw¬
ford White, who have been spending
somtime in Covington.
Miss Kathryn Sockwell, who has
been making her home with Mr. and
Mrs. Mai Griffin, for sometime, has
joined her father in Atlanta, where
she will reside in the future. Miss
Sockwell will attend the West End
public schools.
