Amy’s Lemonade Recipe
• Lemon concentrate • Sugar
• Water • “Dump it all together”

You will want to get your
Mom to help you with this.
• 2 cups flour
• % cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 4 eggs, slightly beaten
• 6 tablespoons lemon juice
• Grated rind of 1 lemon
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 tablespoons flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
Mix flour, powdered sugar and butter in mixing bowl;
beat well. Pat into a lOxlO-inch pan evenly. Bake at
350 degrees for 15 minutes. Mix eggs, lemon juice,
rind, sugar, flour and baking powder, spread over top.
Return to the oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 mi
nutes. Cool and sprinkle with additional powdered
sugar. Cut into squares. Yield 27-30 squares.

Here is a very simple way to make some. YOUR
MOM WILL HAVE TO HELP, SINCE THE
RECIPE CALLS FOR BOILING WATER!

• I/2 cup flour
• 1 cup boiling water jw

What to do:
1. Add flour to the boiling water and stir over a
very low heat until the mixture is thick and
shiny.
2. Let it cool. Keep your paste covered tightly in
a container to keep it from drying out.
