Congratulations, Branden!
Branden Hudson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hudson, Elks Club
Road, Covington, won his very own five-foot tall stuffed Quacker
Jack toy in a drawing held Oct. 10 at Jack's Hamburgers of
Covington. Little Lori Chestnut, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Chesnut Jr., drew the lucky winner from approximately 2,000 en
tries. Lori’s dad is manager of the Bank of Covington, North
Branch. Ken Jurgens is the manager of Jack's.
Atlantans Arthritis Foundation
Two Atlanta residents have
joined the House of Delegates of
The Arthritis Foundation’s na
tional organization. Judge George
T. Smith, of the State Court of
Appeals, was appointed a Chapter
Delegate. Colon H. Wilson, Jr.
M.D., professor of medicine and
director of the rheumatology divi
sion at Emory University School
of Medicine and director of the
rheumatology division at Emory
University School of Medicine
was elected a Delegate-at-Large.
Both affiliated with the agency’s
Georgia Chapter, they attended
the first meeting of the House in
Chicago, October 15th and 16th.
The management and adminis
tration of The Arthritis Founda
tion, the only national voluntary
health organization seeking the
cause and cure of arthritis,

member House of Delegates will
meet anually to establish policies,
approve budget, amend by-laws
and elect officers and members of
the Board of Trustees.
The 31-member board, composed
primarily of delegates, will meet
three times a year to manage the
business and affairs of the
Foundation. Judge Smith and Dr.
Wilson also were elected trustees
to this Board, and Judge Smith
also was elected vice chairman
for the Southeastern area.

work to conquer America’s
number one crippling disease
