Rural Delivery Commences June 1st.
Mr. H. M. Pafford has received his
appointment as rural carrier for route
No. 1. This rural carrier route will
commence on June 1. The route will
be between Waycross and Elsie, and
the distance for the round trip will
be about 24 miles.^ The carrier will
leave Waycross at 8 o’clock every
morning except Sunday, and will re
turn here at 4 o'clock In the after
noon. Postmaster Murphy has made
application for two other routes, and
it Is expected his application will be
granted.

Burton Holmes, the lecturer, tells
of a Russian he saw some years ago
