Vansicklen, secretary of the A merl in Automobile Association under hose auspices the big automobile road races were to be run next month reached Savannah yesterday and piet with the executive committee hi the races Id charge. Savannah, Ga., Feb. 25.—Thought to be dying at he Park View Sanitar ium lies Lowrent Tboman, an aged Frenchman, who was recently found ill in a hovel in the city. Thoman had more than a hundred dollars sewed In his clothes but he was liv ing in filth and upon scraps when lound. Thoman says be has been in Savannah eight years and that he came to this city from Atlanta. He seems flighty on but one subject. He says several years ago in Kansas he was frozen on the inside and has never been able to get warmed In ;!ie Interior since. ATTORNEY WAS FATALLY SHOT BY WOMAN. New York, Feb. 25.—Attorney (itnrles X. Sanford was probably fa- tally shot by an unknown woman near the Brooklyn bridge this morn ing. The woman was later arrested and gave her name as Eunis Blount.
