Of Interest her* ‘is the following
from a recent Issue ot The Atlanta
Journal-. I
"Waycrosa, Ga., the county site of
Ware, will begin 1911 with brighter
prospects than she has ever known
before, according to Secretary C. P.
Andrews of the Waycrojs Board of
Trade, who Is In Atlanta furnishing
detailed Information of/Ware county.
Since coming to Atlanta last week
when the Ware eshUilt was Installed
in the city ticket office of the Atlan
ta, Birmingham anil Atlantic. Secre
tary Andrew* ha* received many In
quiries of openings In Waycross sod
opportunities in agricultural lines Id
Ware. He says he never saw such
general Interest la his home county
before, and feels sure the new year
will give the county a big increase In
population.
"Secretary Andrews backs Wate

time Is not tar distant When every
state Jn the union and almost every
section of Canada will be represented

Population Increase.
"His statement ot Ware’s progress
1* borne out by the official census an
nouncement from Washington, which
gives Ware an Increase of 66,9 per
cent over the population ot 1900. Tbe
present population Is only a few un
der 23.000. Waycross. known an the
"Queen of Wlregras* Georgia" has a
population of about It.500, an Increase
since 1900 of 160 per cent. Secre
tary Andrews believes the present
growth warrants the prediction that
Waycrosa will have nut leas than
26,000 people by the time another
census Is taken. “Waycrosa Is al
ready the principal city of South
Georgia,” said he, "and dcatrea to get
