SHALL WE ADVERTISE
AT THE EXPOSITION?
Mr. Stephens write* About This Sec
tion ui Mikes Proposition.
Kditor Journal: With th« most
wonderful climata on.i arth; some
. of the finest .grazing and farming
lands; good laws; a virtuous and
industrious citizenship and sea
sons which nre unparalleled in any
part of the United States, why
should not Southern Georgia,
Southern Alabama and Florida
become "the Mecca’ of home-
seekers ?
Here lands are fertiloand cheap
crops may 1st produced almost
every month ; transportation fa'
oilities are fine; rutes to all mar
kets reasonably low, and there are
many reasons favorable to the
lands of the sections named.
In some sections of the North
and North-west population in the
rural districts is positively con
gested and thousands are anxious
ly awniting an opportunity to go
where living is easier and the con
ditions for producing same less
exacting.
Are tvu doing our whole duty in
the matter of giving correct infor
mation in regard to the resources
of our country ?
Can wo not publish a plain
statement of fact, without the
embellishments usually found in
such literature, which will he of
itself convincing ?
Can we not give tho actual yield
of vnrioiiB crops under reasonable
care and state tho coat of produc
tion, and thereby allow tho net
profit ill every case ?
Can we not avail ourselves of
tile wonderful facts which could
be related of our country in such
manlier ns to turn tho lido of inii
gratiou southward?
The I’lnut System is now gutting
out liternturo for this purpose mid
1 expect to spend the first fifteen
or twonty days of October at the
Pan-American Exposition for the
purpose of distributing same, and
eHnll be most pleased to aid at the
same timo in distributing any lit
erature which may be gotten out
by tho various counties or cornuim
nities in tho territory mentioned
Get the matter ready and advise
if you dosiro that I should aid in
its distribution as early as
teniber loth, with iiunntity.

Urns when a soft Uttte body, all her
own, will nestle In her bosom, fully
satisfying the yearning which lies In
the heart of every good woman. But
yet there is a black cloud hovering
about the pretty picture in her mind
which fills her with terror. The
dread of childbirth takes away much
of the Joy of motherhood. And yet It
need not be so. For sometime there
haa been upon the market, well-known
and recommended by physicians, a
liniment called
Mother’s mean
which makes childbirth as simple and
easy as nature Intended it. it Is a
strengthening, penetrating liniment,
which the skin readily absorbs. It
gives the muscles elasticity and vigor,
prevents sore breasts, morning sick
ness and the loss of the girlish figure.
