Grady, of Atlan ta, special agent of the Prudential Insurance Co. of America,is in the city working with Mr. W. C. Hill. We call special attention to the new ad of Mr. D. T. Pye which appears in our paper today, and would suggest that youcall on him when needing anything in hisline. The adjourned term of Jasper Superior Court will be held one week from next Monday. A good deal of unfinished business remains on the docket, and it is likely that the session will last three or four days. : Mr. ]J. H. Kelly comes to the front this week with a handsome full page advertisement. Mr. Kelly is offering a great reduction in prices on his stock. Smith has leased his farm near S mithboro and he and Mrs. Smith will leave in a few days for Marietta, their future home. Brandon, having disposed of their place at Adgateville, are moving to their ‘home recently built near -Mox;s cello on the road leading to Flovil: Ila. ' Messrs Felix and Rufus Frank lin, of Eudora, placed one hundred and thirty-five bales of cotton on the Monticello market last Friday. It was bought by Mr. R. R, Powel who paid 10} per pound for the lot. The next attraction at the K. P. Hall will be the lecture of Hon. He has many friends in this city who will hope for his success in this race.
