\' On account of so much sickness
in our community the Sunday
school at Willow Springs is not
quite so progressive as heretofore.
We regret to chronicle the death
of two of Jasper's oldest and most
noted citizens, Mr. Mat Holloway
and his wife, Mr. Holloway was
sick only a short while and died
Dec. 4th. Too much cannot be
said of him, both as a gentleman
and christian. While he did not
seck notoriety his life might well
be emulated. His wife, who has
been sick for sometime, followed
him two days later. She was a
worthy example of womanhood.
Thus two lives of usefulness have
ended and we can but feel regret
aud sorrow at their departurc.
May their loved ones console
themselves with the joyful thought
that they will meet them in the
sweet bye and bye.
