An Old Relfo
A few days ago we saw an old relic
wkich dates back to 1772, It was a glags
salt 'eellar in a good state of preserva
tion. It was made in England. When
the guns of 1776 were heard all over
these lands this salt cellar did duty up
on the table of some good whig, who sea
soned his food with plenty of salt to en
able him to have enough muscular vigor
to *‘pull down” with his gun upon every
lurking tory. ‘
