Cuts furrow® to 11 inches wide. Size of Disc 20 inches.
Cuts furrow 9 to 11 inches wide. Size of dise 20 inches. Draft: .Easily worked by two horses or mules. Dirt proof removable boxes on
all wheels which hold the oil and insure perfect lubrication. Cut adjusting lever: The amount of land is varied by the Cut Adjusting
Lever in the center of the plow, which is accessible from the seat and 'easily controlled. With this the width of furrow may be
changed instantly as desired. Furrow-wheel Standards are vertical, hence the wheels retain the same angle at all depths of plowing.
The Clevis supports Doubletrees, preventing their coming in contact with horses when turning. Dise Bearing chilled and dirt proof,
insuring long life. :
The advantages of Avery’s Reversible Two-Horse Disc Plow are: It enables the farmer to plow his field without leaving any dead
furrows; the soil all being turned in one direction. This feature will appeal strongly to truck gardeners and farmers in general. When
reaching end of furrow the operator simply presses a lever with his foot, turns the team and goes back. The Wheels, Disc and Secraper
adjust themselves automatically. There is no moving of levers on reaching end of furrow, as the simple reversing of the plow brings all
working parts into an exactly reversed position. The Disc pulverizes the soil and effectively buries trash. The Plow is light in draft and
simple in construction. It is equally adapted to hilly or level ground, and to sandy, clay and mixed soil. :

Avery's --Louisville
With Either Straight or Spiral Knives,
The most successful and satisfactory Stalk Cutter in the field. Is
practically all steel and wrought iron; has no castings that break.
Steel wheels 34 inches in diameter, with 134 inch tires.
Wheels and cylinder spider both have removable boxes.
Drag hooks are raised or lowered by pressure upon the foot peddle.
Has an easy spring seat that overcomes any jolting.
Cylinder revolves on the axle, and the axle itself does not revolve,
hence there is no danger of vines or trash winding about the axle.
Trash cleaners on the axle brush away any trash that might have
a tendency to clog or gather between the knives.
Has a wrought steel hood or cover which is carried completely over
the knives, protecting the driver both from the danger of falling on the
knives and from flying dirt and staTks.
Nos. 1 and 2 (spiral knife), and 3 and 4 (straight knife) have
seven double edge reversible knives, cutting the stalks into 12-inch pieces.
Nos. 11 and 12 (spiral knife),and 13 and 14 (straight knife) have
nine double edge reversible knives, cutting the stalks into 9-inch pieces.
Any degree of penetration can be given by means of the lever,
by which the entire weight of machine and driver can be forced on
the knives, which, in case of damp or heavy stalks, can be increased
by putting such weight in weight-box as may be found necessary.
No Clogging. Stalks Easily Cut.
