By What Name Shall it be Call

that Dawson is to liavo a School to

that would better serve to keep fresh j

IN INVITING ATTENTION
TO THE CARD OF Messrs. Cush
ings & Bailey, 800-sellers and Sta
tioners of Baltimore, we would note
especially two considerations: the in
creased importance of Baltimore as a
market, and the large facilities of this
particular house. The trade of Bal
timore with the South has increased
more in proportion since the war than
that of any other city, and the claim
of its merchants and manufacturers
that they can sell goods cheaper than
they can be bought elsewhere finds
now substancial proof in the large or
ders they are constantly receiving from
every portion of the South. The house j
of Cushings and Bailey was establish
ed in 1811, and it has been a charae- j
teristic feature of their manner of trad- j
ing that they have invariably given
the buyer who orders his wares by j
mail the same superioj-advantages he
could have secured in person.
Employing a large capital in their
business, they combine the utmost en
terprise with the most elevated integ
rity. For further particulars we re
fer to their advertisement.
