'The docket Was not dewed by consi derable, but in con equence ot the oppressive Wea ther, the Judge thought proper to let tnany cases rest until the November turm, when, if necessary to e’ear the Bucket, the term will be continued two Weeks. We must tomark hefe that it was n most orderly session in oveiy partic ular. Ber Mes.— Blackberries and huckle berries are offered in cinsidcrblc quan tities on our street. And here we would impress upon the minds of our readers the importance of the former berry, no' only as a commodity in its season, but when preserved for other seasons. We have seefl it stated tha t blackberries, by A proper Moihls opera ndi, can be dried ao as to preserve their sweetness through out the year. By experimenting in this line, a method might he disoovered that Would bring to the country thousands of tLI lars from year to year. And tdackbci ry wine is declated by good au‘hority uu equalied for its medicinal qualities by any other wine mad ;by our people or imported. We should strive mere fully to develope this crop by culture, par ic ul uly new, while nothing that will bring a dollar, should be lost for the want ol attention and trial. Daiviou Prlctfa Current.
