IN LOVING MEMORY OF
MRS. F. D STRIELING
On last Wednesday afternoon the
Death Angel called the spirit cf Mrs.
Stribling to her heavenly home. All
the community was made sad with
the sad news of her death. She had
undergone an opeeration at St. Ma
ry’s Hospital on Friday before and
all her friends and loved ones sin
cerely hoped and trusted that her
life might be spared, but the dear
God who made and loveth us all saw'
bent to carry her to her heavenly
home.
Mrs. Striibling had been isick for
a long time and she had been very
patient and battled sti'ongly with her
last enemy to be overcome, death.
Mrs. Stribling~was always a true
wife and mothefl. She mill be misled
greatly by her large host cf friends,
but most of all by her dear husband
and precious children and though
she has taken her flight to her
heavenly hime where there wall be
no more sorrow and suffering fior
her but eternal joy and life everlast
ing, yet her influence v,nll continue
to live through the agon.
Mrs. Stribling wa always a pa
tient, kind”, gentle, loving woman.
She was as a bright ishining light in
her home and iso the works of her
life will continue to shine here OYI
earth and iter spirit will be a bright
shining light in the glory land. “To
know Mrs Stribling was to love her.”
The funeral services were conduct
ed by Rev. A. M, Sprayberry of
Lincolntcn, former pastor of the
Danie’-ville Methodist church, as
ousted by Rev. M. C. Allen the pro >
tent pastor . Her body was laid to rest
in the Jones Chapel cemetery on
Thursday afternoon.
She leaves a husband, eight chil
dren, a mother, four brothers, and
one sister, and a host of relatives
and friends to mourn her death.
May God richly bless and comfort
the bereaved ones. Let us so live
that when our livers shall come to
a close we may join her in heaven}.
Her toil is o’er, her work is done;
She fought the fight, the victory won.
