Miss Bonnie Ray of near Com merce and a return missionary from China was present at the Baptist Ladies’ Missionary Society on Wed nesday afternoon, and gave a very interesting talk on China; Rev. M. He was operated on for appendicitis Saturday and lived hntil Mordav. M. U, The W. M. U. of the Ila Baptist church met at the church on Monday afternoon Oct. 13. We considered ourselves very fortunate in having Miss Bonnie Ray, a returned missionary from China with us. The regular monthly program was omitted. The time usually given to the. program being given to Miss Ray. The message that was brought to ns by Miss Ray was not only inter* eating but it inspired us to do more and greater work for the spread of the Gospel and God’s kingdom. The work of our missionaries on the for eign fields was made very clear to us. We have caught a greater vision 9.1 wfint is be i nlf and of whit is most needed and exoected from us. Anew missionary spirit has been a wakened within us and we feel that jwe are going to do more work foq the Master. After the meeting delicious refresh ! ments were served and a pleasant s6- cial hour was enjoyed. SCHOOL- CLUB FAIR There will be a School-Club Fair held at the Court House in Danicls ville on ‘Saturday, November 15th. All Club members are expected to ex hibit some of their work and the schools will have exhibits of the work done this year. Every one should be interested in the work of the Clubs and the schools and give every en this line. couragement to every effort along GINNERS’ REPORT There were 2,189 bales of cotton ginned in Madison County, from the crop of 1921 prior to October 1, THE MADISON CO. CLUB REORGANIZED AT S. N. S. The Madicon County Club met Wednesday, Oct. Bth for the purpose of reorganizing. The officers elected for the ensuing year were as follows: President—Miss Julia Baker, of Dan ielsville. Sec. and Treas.—Annie Mae Hamp ton of Colbert., Ga. The club will meet every fourth Saturday afternoon with the different members. It will meet this month with Misses Julia Baker, Francis Scott and Ruth Tabor. The club has a memo rghip of 21, increasing four from last year. This is the largest representation the coun ty has ever hud. Practically every town in the county is represented; Danielsville having the largest num ber. Number
