STRATfON A SUCCESS tion conducted by Mr. W,. E. The Stump Blasting Demonstra- Bro-ach, Field Agent in Agricultural Engineering wa3 a splendid succeaa. The object Was to demonstrate the use of PYROTOL, the new Explosive, that is put out bv the Department of Agriculture. Due to the late ar rival of this new explosive, Sodatol was used tfior the demonstration in stead, both being very similar in most respects. The stumps used for this demon stration was on Mr. P. F. Antho ny’s land near Mr. S. W. Pitt:* store. If you have any doubts a bout the power of this explosive go over and see for yourself where these stumps were blown up. In the State there were to be only eight of these demonstrations given, and we feel that we are lucky in getting one of these. If you have stumps you want to get Hd of I will be glad to take your order for some of this Pyrotol. It comes in 50 pound boxes, 6 oz. sticks thus giving about 135 : ticks to each 50 pound box. For each pound there is ffurnished one cap. No fuse i3 furnished. It costs $9.50 per 100 pounds delivered at Athens.
