Colbert High School
BOYS’ BASKET BALL TEAM

The basket ball season is about to
lue intered into. The boys are work
ing hard to make this season a suc
cessful one. The first game for the
q. H. S. boys will be played on the
Colbert court, Saturday Nov. • 22,
where Colbert will play the Madison
County, Ga. Freshmen. We are look
ing, forward to this game and we
have supreme confidence in our team,
and we believe that they “can’’ and
“will” win.
The game will begin at. 3 :30 and
this being the first game of the sea
son, we are expecting a large crowd
out to help us hack up our te<yn.

BIG DAY IN COMER
The Ford Car we are giving away will be on display in our store,
and on Dec. 20. at 3 p.m. someone will ride off in it.
We have an entire new stock of Shoes, Dry Goods, Hats, Caps,

For the next 30 days we are to give you the benefit of a price
on flour bought in June and just now delivered.
The first person buying as much 15.00 on that day will receive

THE FAIR
The County Fair was held at Dan
ielsvilie, Saturday, Nov. 15, and was
quite a success. Many schools were
represented, and the court house was
all aglow with exhibits, consisting of
maps, charts, note books, booklets,
sewing and cooking, club products,
etc. It Was interesting to look these
exibita over, and see the work the
boys and girls of our county are ca
pable of doting if they only have
leaders.
Dinner was. served down stairs in
the court house by the Woman's Club
of Danielsville. ,
After dinner prizes were awarded
to the different schools as follows:
Danielsville, first; XAomer, second;
and Colbert, third. ; Besides these
.several individual prizes were award
ed,-and of these Belle Greer
wton first prize in her History note
book.
A large crowd attended the exhi
bition,, and seemed to enjoy it very
much.

to be held in said Duluth School Dis
trict upon the question of CONSOL

with Danielsville School District.
By virtue of the authority vested in
me as Superintendent of Schools of

1924, an election to be held in the
school house of Duluth School Dis
trict on the question of consolidation
of said Duluth School District- with
