The first note was due the 25 th December 1821 ; the other two notes were payable to this depo nent one day after the date, all dated in that year : and there v.cpc no cred its on either of them when traded to said McCall. April 25 6 3t saw> Ja 1) AN A WAY from ® J V the Subscriber on the night of the 16th instant a Mulatto Woman by the name I** ° SYLVIA, About five feet, five or six inches high, thick lips, rather slow of speech, and fine voice, long visage and pretty artful, she is about thirty years of age —had on when she went away a blue striped N. Home spun frock. Also, her sou about nine or ten years old, named REXUY, A very bright Mulatto, with grey eyes, had on a dark woolen homespun coat, black and white striped pantaloons, and good boot tees. A generous reward will be given and all reasonable cxpences paid to any person delivering them to me, or securing them in Jail, so that I may get them again. Per haps she was taken away by some villain or villains, or joined the negroes of some people moving to the Western country, there were some passed Brier Creek on that evening. One hundred dollars reward will be given for apprehending them with the negroes, so that they may be brought to conviction. Sylvia and her son were brought from Newbern, N.C. in 1815, by James R.
