Atlanta, Jan. 25.-(8pecUI.)-8tate Treasurer Hardeman hia received up to today about *25,000 of the bonds of the Northeastern railroad, upon which the state is endorser, mostly from Ma con, Brunswick, Savannah and Augus te. Under the resolution of the hurt legislature It la provided that the governor should call for these bonds and offer new twenty-year state bonds at * 1-2 per cent, interest for them. »hen three-quarters of the total amount of bonds. b£J been sent to the treasurer, the redemption whl be made, provided the state cannot get a premi um for the proposed issue of redefini tion bonds.
