Mrs. Leon Fernald of Tarpon
Springs, Fla. died Friday at a hos
pital in Valdosta after an illness of
only a few days.
Mrs. Fernald, who was Miss Inez
Fitzpatrick of this county be
fore her marriage, was returning
home with her husbanb and son
from this place where she was called
on account of the death of her
mother, Mrs. Thulia Elizabeth Fitz
patrick, of Tarversville; their deaths
occuring just one week apart. The
family was at her bedside when
the end came.
Besides her husband she is sur
vived by two sons, Leon and Irvui
Fernald; three brothers, Irvin,
Mark and Claire of Tarversville;
four sisters, Miss Lucile Fitzpatrick
