Mr. and Mrs II. V. Waits vis¬ ited Richmond Sunday. Miss Myrtle Holleman has been quite sick this wreek. Mr. C. II. DeLoach has been suffering very much duiing last week, with a carbuncle. Mr. PI. Allen has been suffering with a carbuncle on the back of his neck. Worth welcomes Mr. I. 13. Mur¬ ray and family, formerly of Al- apalia, as residents of this place. The lumber for the frameworks of the Methodist church lias been cut. On account of duties elsewhere Rev. Frank Culpepper our regular Baptist preacher, postponed his services here Sunday until Wednesday night. Pro Martin, of Arabi, ably filled his place. Rev. J. Shirah our regular Meth¬ odist pastor will preach hero Sun¬ day morning and night, every body come out. Mr. Harry Cockrell, seemed to feel very blue last Sunday over something. Alas, dear Harry!
