You know wo arc all glad --“sorry.” Miss Hattie Hodge is absent from school this week on account of sickness. * » Little Alice Belvin was absent from school the last part of the week on account of sickness. Little Alma Strozier was taken very ill at school Monday, and had to bo taken home. It is feared that she has pneumonia. We trust she will soon be convales¬ cent. Our teachers are quite busy se¬ lecting pieces for the little folks to recite at the close of school. We a^l hope that Professor v/ill have an exhibition. To the regret of the school, Prof. Passmore was unable to teach Tuesday. His place was agreeably filled by Mr. Clifford Hay of the Intermediate room. Mr. Claire McLendon, an old member of the CiceronLm -Fra ternity, visited the school last Tuesday afternoon. Come again, Bro. Claire; we will be glad to have you with us any time. Profs. Passmore and Hay at¬ tended the Epworth League con¬ vention at Columbus, Ga., last week. Mrs. Passmore and Miss Bennie Watkins filled their places while absent. The school picnic will be Fri¬ day, April 28, 1899, if the com¬ mittee finds a place suitable in time to make arrangements. If not, It will be postponed a week later. EPWORTH LEAGUE.
