Miss Maggie Hadaway is the guest of Macon relatives. Phil. Everett made a business trip to Cordele Monday. Mrs. J. M. Gregory of Adel is visiting at the parsonage. Col. J. W. Powell attended court at Vienna this week. T. S. Betts attended county court at Isabella this week. Jim Reeves, a negro at the mill, died last Sunday. , Tom Shingler and Willie Bald¬ win went to Macon Wednesday. The prettyest thing in town are those Waist sets at Whidby’s. Mrs. C. F. Forehand of Isabella was in town Tuesday, registering at the Clyde. Mrs. Gilmore of Schley county is visiting the family of her son, J. II. Gilmore. Mesdaines Domer and Wickley of Worth were here shopping W ednesday. Mr. Collier of the News and im¬ migrant, was in Ashburn one day last week. Dr. W.' L. Story and wife, of Sycamore, returned from White Springs Monday.' Dr. G. VV. Cooper went on a tooth snatchin’ expedition to Woith Monday. Worth County Teachers’ Insti- tute convenes at the academy here today. Tiie public generally are cordially inyited to attend.
