Legal Advertisements.
GEORG IA: Banks County. —W ill
be sold on the First Tuesday in De
cember next at, the courthouse in
said cotnly within the legal hours of
sale, to the highest bidder, for cash,
the following described property to
wit: One tract of land lying in said
county, adjoining lands of Martha
Pritchett’s dower and James S. Con
nally, and known as the Martin Gar
rison home place about four miles
east of Homer, Ga., the place whereon
defendant now resides, containing
thirty-six acres. Said place is well
improved, there being erected upon it
a good dwelling house and nececsary
out buildings. Said land levied on
as the property of Francis S. Guest
and Sanford Guest to satisfy a mort
gage fifa issued from the Superior
Court of said county in favor oi Gun
nels, Powers A-Co., against the said
Francis S. Guest and Sanford Guest.
Written notices given in terms o: the
law. Property 1 pointed out by' plain
tiff’s attorney. ($4.62)
Also, at the same time and place
will be sold one thousand pounds of
seed cotton picked out; also, on five
acres of cotton, more or less, contain
ing about fifteen hundred pounds,
of cotton, more or less, in the seed in
the field, six hundred bundles of fod
der, more or less, said cotton and
fodder grown on the Massey land ad
joining lands of Jessie Pritchett and
others. Levied on as the property of
J. E. Massey to satisfy a fifa issued
from the Superior Court of Banks
county in favor of Comer & Carr
against J. E. Massey.
Also, at the same time and place
will be sold three thousand pounds
of seed cotton, more or less grown on
about seven acres of land, said cotton
now in the field, and grown on the
Massey land adjoining lands of Jessie
Pritchett and others. Also one half
interest in one forty saw cotton gin,
Winns make, and one-half interest in
one cotton press made by brooks.
Levied on as the property of J. M
Massey to satisfy afi fa issued from
the Superior Court of Banks county
in favor of Comer & Carr against the
said J. M. Massey. Said property
will be deli vet ed at the Massey gin
and the Massey farm, and the gin
and press where it is now running.

Agreeably to an order of the Court of
Ordinary of Banks county will be
sold at auction at the courthouse door
of said county on the first Tuesday
in December next within the legal
hours of sale the following; property
to wit: One tract of land contain
ing one hundred and sixteen acres,
more or less, adjoining lands of J. IV.
Prickett John Scoggins and others,
and known as the home place of
Robert Jones late of said county
deceased. There is a good common
house with out buildings, pasture ect.
on the premises. Sold as the prop
erty of Robert Jones deceased.
